Vitacost Haul

Hello my lovelies,

This haul is indeed belated but I received the package quite late in 2017 and due to festivities and not wanting to spend time taking photos and composing a blog post I put off the write up of this haul til now.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Leave In Conditioning Mist Coconut Milk

Since I am not a major fan of conditioner as I feel it weighs down my hair, I tend to use conditioning mists, and have been dying to try out a new one. This conditioning mist spray moisturizes and quenches dull, thirsty, tangled tresses and protects hair prior to heat styling. Soft, smooth, shiny and manageable hair here I come! According to the product description it is 100% Vegetarian. No: Animal Testing, Artificial Colors, Parabens, Phthalates, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate or Sodium Myreth Sulfate

Desert Essence 100% Pure Jojoba Oil

I have used jojoba oil before but since I tend to regularly switch up my oils I had forgotten about this until I stumbled upon a nail hack video which suggested jojoba oil for stronger nails. I’ve read up on jojoba oil online and apparently it penetrates and moisturizes skin without leaving any oily residue and can be used to remove makeup. You can also massage it into your scalps to moisturise and prevent dry skin or flakiness. Hmm, a lot of experimenting to do

Nature’s Gate Enriching Shampoo + Conditioner Biotin + Bamboo

So it seems that my hair treatment routine just got more responsible. These contain Biotin, Bamboo, and Pro-vitamin B5 and marketed as ideal for thin damaged hair. Brand is Vegan, Non-GMO, products are paraben free, soy free, cruelty free and do not contain sodium lauryl/laureth/coco sulphates, phthalates, butylenes glycol and artificial colors

Nature’s Gate Revitalizing Shampoo Jojoba + Sacred Lotus

Yes there is a pattern here – JOJOBA! This revitalizing shampoo is supposed to gently cleanse hair with its blend of jojoba, sacred lotus, and horsetail extract and ideal for thin/dry hair.

Nature’s Gate Nourishing Conditioner Hemp + Argan Oil

Another conditioner! As the name suggests this conditioner nourishes hair with conditioning botanicals – hemp and argan oil. Will see how it goes!

Soothing Touch Cedar Sage Salt Scrub

This is a repurchase for when I don’t feel like making my own body scrub (which has become the norm recently). The scrub is so luscious and smells absolutely divine. A look at the ingredients list can tell you why – it is jam packed with oils and no other fishy chemicals! Oops, stumbling into review territory there, back to the generic introduction of the product. This combination is marketed as helping combat fatigue and being mentally stimulating and relaxing at the same time. You will bring the spa home and melt away stress and rejuvenate the skin with this scrub.

Stay tuned for reviews!

Kim xx
