Hello again my lovelies,

(this list was reproduced from CosDNA) There are numerous antiseptic and anti-inflammatory ingredients in the product, although it does contain Cocamide DEA which may be carcinogenic despite the FDA not commenting on it.

Price :

And this is where we hit a bit of a road-block as it is a bit pricey compared to other cleansers. I must admit I got mine on sale from a website which I don’t remember the name of, but you can get your 150ml bottle from a trusted seller off EBAY for circa $26 / £20 / € 24.

PH :

I am pleased to announce that the PH of the cleansing foam, notwithstanding that it is titled a ‘foam’ is approximately 5.5 (without adding water).

To test out the efficacy of this cleanser on its own without using an oil cleanser, I swatched the the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation, the L’Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision and the Rimmel Provocalips Kiss Proof Lip Colour (click here for review on these) on my arm. I realised after doing this little test that I should have swatched a sun protector on my skin too but it’s a little too late now (oops).

I applied one small dot of the cleanser on the swatches and started swirling the product around. The smell of slightly perfumed tea tree is quite pleasant and not overpowering at all. After a short while, I added water and the cleanser started foaming up a bit – don’t expect a lot of bubbles unless you use a net with this.

After I washed off the product this is what was left:

My Thoughts :

I used this product religiously for well over a month, mainly at night either after using a cleansing oil or on its own. Although tea tree extract could dry out the skin if used consistently, this product left my skin feeling soft, nourished and clean. I did notice that my skin was loving this product, and that it was clearing up slightly. I was only the slightly bit disappointed that it did not foam up, but there again I wouldn’t have minded this so much had the product not been called cleansing foam.

Would I repurchase? I have not repurchased this product YET, but I probably will when I find it on sale somewhere 😀
